"Excellent but massive"
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

Before this modem I was running a D-Link 2740B and this modem is at least twice that size (just be aware since you can not hide this piece of equipment).

Streams 1080p wireless beautifully. My previous modem wouldn't stream media wireless from my laptop to our TV (only 10m away at best). The laptop had to be wired to the modem to prevent loss of frame. This modem streams it seemlessly.

Loving the dual band output, but do be aware that both wireless networks are broadcasted. You can't turn off the 2.4 and just have the 5 running. You can mask the SSID though. Also, if you don't have devices capable of running on the 5 network it will be wasted for example iPhone 4's don't have 5GHz wifi (just discovered our friend's phone couldn't locate our network).

The user interface isn't as friendly as D-Link but I haven't updated the firmware so it may be different now.

Also picked this up on a daily deal for $140 and you can't get a better modem for that price that does everything. Highly recommend. Am considering buying a few more to upgrade all family members

"Excellent, fast speed modem"

Cannot fault this product, quick set up and have not had an issue. May be alittle big for people who hide their modems.

"Great product"

I'd been having intermittent logging out while playing online gaming, loss of connection which only last a few seconds by dropped me from most online gaming sessions.

After some testing against my connection and router, the router turned out to be the problem. I decided to upgrade to the TP-Link N600, and I'm totally happy with the decision. More consistent speeds and most importantly: no drop out!
