Before I purchased this game, I was curious about how TRAINZ 2004 would stack up against MS Train Simulator. My question has now been answered. They are both great games (assuming of course that you LIKE model railroad stuff) but I think TRAINZ 2004 has a clear edge… at least until MSTS2 comes out (whenever that may be!!).
TRAINZ 2004 goes beyond what MSTS and TRAINZ for that matter offers. It has interactive “industries” that animate onscreen and generate work for your railroad and stop if you do not deliver. The game allows you to focus on different aspects of railroading – being a driver, or being a dispatcher, etc. Loads of fun – even if you have a real model railroad.
