In Transitions, author Richard D. Riddle Sr. discusses the experiences of his life. As he explains, in the past, he did not understand what happened and why things happened when they occurred; he simply experienced them. Today, he looks back and reflects on all that has happened in his life and, with a critical eye and heart, digs deep within to see if there was something more significant to his journey. With just a shift in perspective, even he was surprised by what he discovered. Transitions is not a "how-to" manual. There is no way that any one person could begin to tell you how to live your life or suggest that you should do what he has done; indeed, doing so would suggest that someone else has a much more elaborate plan for your life than he or she has for his or her own.
