If the definition of amalgamate is to combine or unite to from one organization or structure then Trio Amalgamate is aptly named indeed. The union of guitarist Gene Pritsker bassist Dan Cooper and drummer Gernot Bernroider takes disparate elements and forms them to one structure that produces the best in new jazz.
