Tritton Kama Stereo Headset (PS4 & Vita) reviews

This headset is actually so good. The sound quality is amazing and is crisp and clear. It is even good for listening to music. I recommend this headset to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much on a headset. The bass is good and also an Amazing and epic headset for the price tag. 10/10

I give this 5 stars because, while they are not the best headphones ever, they are certainly good enough for 40 bux. The mic quality is pretty good too according to friends. The only draw back is that they squish your ears a little if you wear them to long. But a good way to look at that is that if your ears start hurting a little, you've probably been playing for ages and need a break. Would recommend to friends to get these. The Tritton Kama's are the best headset for PS4 under $100. The main reasons:

Sound – Great sound, Punchy Base. No complaints Style – Shiny plastic, blue accents. Look good Build Quality – Feel really solid. Soft headband and earcups with a faux leather, Perfect bendable microphone.

Earcups are small, will sit on your ears. However produce great sound and microphone quality. Easy setup. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality headset under $100. You would only see real improvements from PlayStation Gold 7.1 tier headsets and upwards.

These headphones are pretty good considering that they're only $40. The only complaint I have is that they aren't really that comfortable. They sound great and and the mic can be adjusted to wherever you want.

Pros:

• Good value for your money
• Sounds great
• Easy to use

Cons:

• Not that comfortable to wear, but nothing major.

Overall, if you are looking for a cheap, good quality headset, then I recommend this one.

Probably the best value PS4 compatible headset around!

The sound quality is impressive, they are comfortable and feel reasonably well built. The mic has great clarity and the convenient inline volume / mute switch is an added bonus.

Obviously the sound is not going to be as big as much more expensive headsets that are USB powered, but for the cost of these… I have no complaints.

Just remember that they need a few hours of “running in” before you get the best low frequency response and depth of sound.

Great sound quality, mic quality is decent too. Only downside is it is slightly uncomfortable on your ears and extended use can become irritating to some people. But definitely worth the price!

My thoughts would echo those of those who have reviewed before me:

PROS

• Great sound definition; clear frequency response and quite balanced, neither too bass or treble oriented
• Strong build quality
• Easily adjustable mic
• Very easy to set up with the PS4
• Works effectively for both game and movies/music

CONS

• Despite the flexibility of the headset, and cushioned ear pads, it’s definitely noticeable as getting a bit tight after about 30–45 mins of use.

However, the mild discomfort is pretty minimal in the overall picture and I usually wear a beanie or hoodie at home anyway, so kinda negated.

I compared this with my flatmate’s far more expensive headset(2.5× the price), and found the only real big differences were that his one was a bit comfier and had a slightly crisper sound, and bass response. So if you are looking for an above average quality headset but don’t want to spend a fortune (i.e most of us) then this is well worth your time.

I don't know if it's only the headset I have, but sometimes I have to wiggle the jack around for about 3–4 minutes before my mic starts to work. But as everyone else has said, when it works, it's really good for its price.

The sound in this headset is incredible and the mic audio is pretty good but I felt some treble would have helped when gaming.

The drawbacks to the headset is that the audio will cut in and out and that the ear cups should have been round and a lot more comfortable. Also the 3.5mm cable should have been longer.

Aside from that it's a pretty good headset for the price.

Sound is fairly good, cord could be longer but the only real issue I have with these is the comfort level. I have an earring on the top of my ear, these do not quite cover the ear and due to the headset being a little tight, my ear is on fire after about 2 hours of use.

Nice pair of headphones. Really good quality in the speakers and the microphone.

I have been using these for a month now after buying them for sale here on MightyApe. My kiwi accent comes through loud and clear much to the annoyance of international gamers. Boom mic stick is slightly bendable but sadly doesn't swivel. Not bad for the price.

Great sound and microphone. Only downside is ears hurt after hours of play.

Decent headset. I use it on my PS4. Friends say I sound clear in the party chat. Only problem is the small ear cups make my earlobes sore when wearing for over an hour.

Great quality for the price, also handy that it plugs into the controller.

Amazing quality mic and sound. Just a little tight on the ears so extended gaming sessions can get painful at times. Do not recommend using for long periods of time with earrings in.

Good basic to have. Has an adjustable volume control which is very useful. Mic muting. Feels good and Looks good. There are a few higher end Headsets from the same brand and they are worth the extra dollars if you want extra comfort and better sound quality.

Really reliable and comfortable headset. Nice deep bass and crisp clearity of sounds. Friendly use with my playstation 4. This headset is definitely up there with major brands like astros and turtle beach. You wont be disappointed.

I bought these to use whilst my wireless set was recharging during long gaming sessions, and now i use these for 80% of the time, excellent sound and chat quality and with a short controller connection means no un-wildly wires everywhere.

Have excellent sound quality, the mic quality is epic in my party they can hear my phone just vibrate so good quality. Would definitely recommend them to gamers who are looking for a cheap but good piece of head ware

For the price this headset is fantastic and is exactly what I needed whilst saving up for a better headset. Much better then using the ear piece that came with the Ps4.

For what you get the headset is a great price. Sound and mic quality is good. Only complaint is that after long periods of time the ear bit can become a little uncomfortable as it sits on the ear, not completely over it.

This head set is great for the price you pay for it. The sound quality is very decent and the mic is clear. A bit tight around the ears but thats probably due to having a fat head. Overall very happy.

I love Tritton headsets, I think I have like 5 of them now… they are sturdy, reliable, always in regular use. The Tritton Kama stereo headset is pretty good for value, a bit small but can't really complain since I've also got the Tritton Kunai for Xbox One, the Tritton Warhead 7.1 for Xbox 360 and Tritton 720+ for everything. It's a basic headset, not a high level top of the line gaming headset but it does the job. I can recommend this headset without a doubt. I got it for $39.99. Pretty damn good.

I thought comfort was going to be an issue but after wearing these everyday for long periods of time I never had an issue, the trick I found was to adjust the ear pieces (which can turn and move) every so often to find that sweet spot

They are pretty comfy and the sound for me is great. I really really like them.

I was putting it on my head as normal and one side snapped. It can still be used, but I worry it will break again and will need to be replaced. Good value, poor quality.
