Author Biography:

John Macquarrie is Emeritus Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity in the University of Oxford. He is one of the most famous philosophers of religion writing in English, and his numerous books include Principles of Christian Theology, Jesus Christ in Modern Thought and Christology Revisited.
