Activision brings back Ty and all of his friends in the action-adventure game TY THE TASMANIAN TIGER 3: NIGHT OF THE QUINKAN for the Game Boy Advance. The game puts players in the role of Ty as he battles his way through the Dreamtime realm. The game begins with Ty and his friend Shazza the dingo being pulled into the Dreamtime realm by the Bunyip Elder. The Elder wants them to help the Bunyips relocate the Quinkan, beings made of darkness that exist only to ruin good times. However, things take a turn for the worse when Ty and Shazza return home only to find the Quinkan in charge of Ty’s home of Burramudgee and the Bush Rescue Team nowhere to be found. Ty attacks by throwing his twin boomerangs or using them like clubs. He also has access to a number of vehicles like the Shadow Bunyip, a robotic suit. The Shadow Bunyip has standard punch and shoot attacks, but as the game progresses, players will find new weapons for it, including the powerful Shadow Beam. Like the previous games, the cart racing mini-game returns in TY THE TASMANIAN TIGER 3: NIGHT OF THE QUINKAN.
