This has to be up there with the GREATEST vampire or warewolf movies of all time! If not the greatest. It may be considerd more of a action movie than a horror, either way, its action packed with a dark feel to it. I would reccomend this movie to anyone with even a little interest in vampire movies. Highly entertaining!

The best vampire/werewolf movie Ive seen, great production quality, acting and action sequences.

This is the first (not chronilogically) of 3 (so far) movies which have had a lot of success.

You cant go wrong if you love this sort of thing, fast paced, good story and sets the scene for the next movie.

A great movie that delves into the vampire and werewolf lore, changing some things and keeping some others to ultimately craft a world different to the one we know. It is a beautiful world with really cool characters, special effects and visual vistas. A great story weaved into all this makes a brilliant movie for anyone into action packed adventures.

Underworld is a visually fantastic movie, special effects are seamless and the dark urban settings create a fantastic mood. Kate Beckinsale is fantastic as Selene, decked out in black with the flowing cape, dark hair and piercing eyes she has the air of a vampire. The movie has an interesting plot, but not too complex as to slow down the movie and the action of the movie flows well with the storyline.

A fantastic movie for fans of the genre.

Setting the scene for the rest of the movies to follow, this is an amazing and very exciting movie. This is on the edge of your seat entertainment from start to finish.

It was EXACTLY what I expected and wanted to see. Kate looks amazing in this movie and will always be the best person for this role.

This movie was awful. Slow moving, no character development, nothing. Don't bother.

Although the special effects, costumes, set designs are all top notch, one star is dropped from the perfect 5 because of a couple of poor casting decisions, namely absolutely horrible english accents, that cheapen what otherwise may have been a great movie. The aggravating accents set in like a slow acting virus, thus becoming a distraction from the action. Should you be able to overlook trash accents then the enjoyment factor should be quite high
