Description

"Like the prow of a ship in the tempest, nothing can stop it." Upon This Rock., the Third Season of Our Father's Evangelical Church, uncovers the roots of five prominent families in the fictional town of Monument, California, as they are gathered together over the centuries. From the Civil War to the California Gold Rush, from shipwrecks and shootouts to malt shops and high school dances, their varied histories reveal the colorful cast of characters that the Son considers essential in the formation of His Body in any location. This all takes place around the growing excitement over a major accomplishment in the City of Monument. Join Ian Block as he explores his own emotional family history and that of "Synopsis" Sid Barrington, Deacon Holbert, Max Stellar, and Doris Mackintosh. In Upon This Rock., Ian learns of the many humorous and sometimes tragic events that make up the family history of Our Father's Evangelical Churcha "the lighthouse that calls its people together from distant shores, beckoning them to the Rock, upon which they can either land or crash! It is a blast from the past you will not soon forget! It is a past that is teamed up with an ever-changing present and uncertain future, all three receiving a solid lesson on the staying power of your friendly neighborhood local church!
