This film is about when Britain's gover­nment turns totalitarian and the fight for freedom. The letter V is used a lot in this film which isn't surprising. It provides an insight into an alternate future of what Britain would be like with the freedom of speech taken away. Overall this is a great film with action, drama and great acting and is one of my favourite films.

“Remember remember the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot, I know of no reason, the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot” The government has taken over the populations by using fear and a weapon, the people have no voice. They live under restrictions, curfews and under the strict governments' watchful eyes. One man, wronged in the most brutal of ways is trying to open the population's eyes, to stand up and believe freedom is a right not a fantasy.

Explosions, knives, guns this movie has them all.

Stunning performances by Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. Epic story line and enough action to attract any man and enough drama to attract any woman! (…well, it attracted me and I have worn out one dvd re-watching it!!) I could not recommend this movie enough!

Indeed an incredibly, powerful movie I've seen, I actually thought that the whole thing was real except about Guy Fawkes' attempted assassination. I did hope to see more action after watching trailers of this movie.....but just only bits of it were shown now and then, the only parts I was interested in since V is one BAD (I mean as in cool hehe), awesome, mysterious man who is talented with knives and has a way of expressing himself in such a graceful manner, no use of profanity whatsoever which is which what I liked… though it was more talking, which I found rather slow. But anyway I liked the whole concept of this movie, sad but moving :D :D :D
