I'll start by saying I absolutely love this game. I jumped in before COVID began but didn't get my first sets till midyear due to obvious delays as my sets shipped from UK. The models look fabulous on the table if given a reasonable paintjob, at 1800th scale they can be a bit fidly to put together. The rules are fairly simply and there is alot of dice throwing and critical hits are what you are trying to achieve. For example, one opponent described the system as ‘brutal’ as his Sharnorst battlecruiser disappeared from the table before firing a shot in anger. Each ship has a total point value which allows for matchups based on agreed points e.g. IJN Yamato is 1000, which means you can afford X2 British battleships as a matchup at 975 points. If you like the WWII naval theme you won't be dissapointed.
