Author Biography

Robin Doak is a writer of fiction and non fiction books for children. Subjects she has written on include American immigration, the 50 states, American presidents, and U.S. geography. Doak is a former editor of Weekly Reader and has also written numerous support guides for educators. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis on journalism from the University of Connecticut and lives near her alma mater in Portland. She is also the author of Voices from Colonial America: New Jersey, Georgia, California, and South Carolina
