While perhaps not as strong in narrative as the two preceding omnibuses, The Lost remains gripping in that deals with the increasing threat of complete disintegration of the Ghosts as casualties mount and the demands placed on them require forces to be split. Anyone who is a fan of the Gaunt's Ghosts series will have already bought this, for new readers however they should definitely start with The Founding and not here.
