Laura Numeroff is the New York Times bestselling author of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, What Mommies Do Best/What Daddies Do Best. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up as the youngest of three girls, surrounded by art, music and books. Laura now lives in Los Angeles, California. Lynn Munsinger is the popular illustrator of dozens of children's books including Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester and What Mommies Do Best/What Daddies Do Best by Laura Numeroff. Born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, she holds degrees from Tufts University and Rhode Island School of Design. An avid skier, she spends winters in Vermont and the snowless seasons in Connecticut.
