The title would have you think this is a weight loss/diet book, but it's much more than that. Based predominanently on research and studies this Doctor tells it how it is with modern wheat (and other gluten based foods) and how they are impacting on our short, medium & long term health and what we can easily and safely do to remove wheat from our diets. Another book that debunks the ‘food pyramid’ (where did that come from anyway–) and the poor dietary information available to most of us e.g eat copious amounts of grains and low-fat. Even if you think you are not intolerant to wheat the book will open your eyes to what it is doing to your body anyway. Go on give it a read – what's $25 compared to your health--
