They say a mother's job is never done. This statement is the essence of what it means to be a mom. As we care for our children day after day we sometimes get lost in the frustration and exhaustion, so much so that we forget just how short these demanding years really are. As a mother who had three children in four years I know all too well what the endless nights and difficult days feel like. It's easy to get caught up in what the future will hold. The future without diapers, naps, and constant use of the word 'mom'. It seems bittersweet to think about it. You want that freedom, you want to watch your child grow and blossom into their own; however, you also don't want to give up those baby cuddles, those tiny hands that hold you tight and are ever-forgiving of your faults. In this story you will be thrown into those emotions as you go through a journey of being a mom to a growing child - a child who in the beginning is not ready for life without mom, so mom must be there until the child is ready.
