Steve Smallman lives in Staffordshire with his wife and the two youngest of his four children. He has been illustrating books for over thirty years, and writing his own stories for the past five. Steve won the Sheffield Children's Book Award in 2009 with 'Smelly Peter the Great Pea Eater'. Caroline Pedler lives in St Agnes in Cornwall and has been illustrating children's books since 1999. She also illustrates greetings cards and paints on canvas. In 2009, Caroline returned to college to study for an MA in Illustration at University College Falmouth.
