I grew up watching the Willy Wonka film multiple times. Even though I love Johnny Depp as an actor, the ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’ does not compare to the original film. The original has all the songs we know and love, from “Pure imagination” to “Oompa Loompa”.
If there is any version of Willy Wonka to see its this one. :)
Compared to the New Willy Wonka movie wit Johnny Dep this one is my Favorite A very good oldie.
Having received a special willy wonka personalised book for christmas I decided to get the original movie for my granddaughter. She loves it, watched it as least once a day since. The original movie has something magical that the newer version with Johnny Depp doesn't have. Gene Wilder is the perfect Willy Wonka. Would definitely recommend.
I loved this movie as a child and still do. I think it is one our family will watch many times.
