These bags are easy to use, mess free and make poaching eggs a breeze!
Average rating does work but dont like the fact that u have to stand there holding them with tongs .
Well this is certainly the most efficient, easy way of poaching eggs at home. Crack the egg into the bag, drop it into the softly boiling water and 4 minutes later it’s ready to lift out, turn Ups’s down and slip into your toast. Only downside is that they are not reusable and add 30 cents or so to the price of each egg you poach.
Wiltshire – Poachies
The vortex. The whirlpool. The vinegar bath.
They all sound pretty intimidating, but they’re not torture methods – though some might say they’ve lost sleep over them.
They’re all ways of poaching eggs, but if you’ve tried them to no avail, don’t stress. You’re not the only one. But just because those methods don’t work for you, it doesn’t mean that you need to give up on poaching eggs altogether.
Enter: Wiltshire’s Poachies. These nifty little poaching bags are a godsend, allowing you to easily water-poach your egg without worry about a swirling, rolling mess of egg white all over the pan. Simply pop the Poachie into a mug with the upper flaps open, crack and egg into it, and lower the the Poachie into bubbling water. Let it poach for around 4 – 6 minutes, and hey presto – a perfect poached egg will slide out.
It’s almost too easy. But that doesn’t take away the eggs-citement even one bit.
