Author Biography:

David Winter was educated at King's College, London before becoming an English teacher and then a journalist. He joined the BBC as a producer and was eventually Head of Religious Broadcasting. He left the BBC to become an Anglican priest. Now retired, he lives near Newbury and continues to write, broadeast and preach. He contributes regularly to Radio 4's 'Thought for the Day' and 'The Church Times' Diary, and edits BRF's bible study notes
