Author Biography

Make-A-Wish (R) was founded in 1980 after a group of law-enforcement officers granted the wish of a seven-year-old boy with leukemia. Make-A-Wish has since grown to become one of the world's leading children's charities. With the help of donors and more than 25,000 volunteers nationwide, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 240,000 wishes.Don Yaeger is an eight-time New York Times best-selling author, longtime associate editor at Sports Illustrated, and award-winning inspirational speaker. He lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife, son, and daughter.
