Once again Mighty Ape, flawless service and I received the item as soon as physically possible. Great job :)
The Xbox however, meh. I purchased an Xbox One because of the exclusives such as Forza, and the future releasing Halo 5. That's pretty much the only viable reason to buy one, because after 8 years from the previous console, it really does not look like they have put a great deal of effort into the console. With simple things such as opening menus, it has actually increased in time to do such small tasks. I find it cool how you can actually snap apps and do other things without exiting a game, but the amount of time it takes to even open your friends list is just appalling. As technology gets more and more advanced, people get more and more demanding, and people do not want to wait on average about 7 seconds to simply open a friends list to invite their friend to a game. It was much quicker even on the 360. Also even loading times within games I find to be much longer than I would expect from a “next-gen” product. But that could also be because I am also a member of the PC master race ;) had to say it sometime.
Anyway, the graphics in game however, look great. The definition on cars and the scenery on Forza 5 is outstanding.
Also the Kinect sensor is amazing! It is beautiful 1080p HD, and I like the fact you can flick a QR code in front of it and it instantly takes you to redeem the item for it.
Overall the Xbox One is great if you want it for the awesome exclusives it offers, but the performance is definitely not up to scratch with consumer demand in today's society. I personally haven't tried the PS4 so I can't say it is better, but most people say it really overrides the Xbox in performance.
One last thing I have to say is I'm a little gutted I pre-ordered this product a long time before release, but I did not receive the free Xbox bag which is now available. Oh well! Can't complain, Mighty Ape has always been good to me.
