It really does look like a block of wood. Tracks a surprising amount of info beyond just the time (day, month, year, 3 alarms), and is clear to read.

I gave it 2 stars just because it does work… Just not with AAA batteries for longer than 3 days!!! In the end, I had to purchase a USB extension lead in order to be able to permanently plug it in to a spare port on my desktop PC as the cable provided is ridiculously too short to be of any practical use. Had I know I have just purchased a clock radio instead as it would have been both cheaper and more practical.

Does everything it says on the box and is a very compact little bedside clock. But expensive to run if you have to rely on batteries to power it.
