WWE Raw 2 has a variety of matches including: Normal, Hardcore, Table, Cage, Hell in a Cell, TLC, Battle Royal, Tag Team, Tornado etc. You can play either 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, 1v1v1v1v1v1 etc.
An all new faster improved game engine and a all new countering system there is much improved gameplay. When you pick up a chair you can grapple with it and do vandaminators, backdrops, ddts etc. If someone throws a baseball bat etc. you can catch it. And if two people grapple one you can execute double team moves such as 3D, double chokeslam etc.
A major feature left out was backstage arenas, although you can access this in season mode it is hardly up to standard.
But WWE Raw 2 makes up for this with a brilliant Create a Superstar with outstanding detail in face, clothing etc. One thing I enjoy the most is making entrances, you can burn your own soundtracks onto your xbox and use it as your theme music, you can even customise your titantron movie making your wrestler do a rock bottom, stone cold stunner, powerbomb etc. in the background while you can edit your own text and change the animation etc. And of course you can set your own lighting effects pyros etc.
Like all wrestling games this game is best when playing with friends but unlike all wrestling games there is a fully interactive 4 player season mode. Where you can Manipulate, Steal, Call out, Encourage, Complain, Surprise attack other superstars.
WWE Raw 2 is nothing short of brilliant, it is a major step-up from Raw 1. The graphics and audio in this game is far more superior than any other wrestling game. Can't wait for the sequel.
