Xbox 360 Wired Controller White (PC Compatible) reviews

This is a very comfortable and ergonomic gamepad. Works well with brand new games, and you don't even have to configure it. This is a nice, cheap way to get a new controller, with the added benefit of it being wired – much cheaper than getting a wireless adapter for a wireless controller. Also has the added bonus of being able to use it on the xbox 360 as well, makes it a great value purchase.

I used this controller to play other games on my PC. It worked so well. I still have it after 3 years.

A really out standing game pad, and probably the best made! Works with most games. Don't hesitate to buy!

Easily the best gamepad for PC, have been playing Street Fighter 4 and Borderlands using this beast and the games are certainly more enjoyable if you have this awesome gamepad. 10/10

Wow this is such a comfortable and easy controller to hold. Best thing about this controller is almost every new game i have wanted to use this controller for has already been set up to use the 360 controller! Other games that are not already pre-setup can be setup in a matter of seconds! As it is a Microsoft product there is absolutely no issues trying to find drivers for it or installing on Windows XP or Vista.

Only negative thing is there is no software that comes with the controller, only drivers so games that are old and cant detect any gamepad wont work with this controller. However, 99% of modern games work with it and about 80% of new games come already setup for it! XD

I must say, everything about this control is perfect. It feels so comfortable, it is sp accurate and best of all almost all recent games support. This is a must have 10/10 :D

I would also like to report that this controller works flawlessly on Windows Vista, and oddly enough server 2008 ? Which I found to be quite curious, but then again system admins need down time :D.

The only controller comparable to this is the old Sega Megadrive controller (shows my age :D). Which I hope will get released by MS at some point as they own the rights to the controller.

The Xbox wired USB controller is the perfect gamer controller. Not only is it an Xbox controller, which is in my opinion the most comfortable controller available, but as it's a wired USB controller, it will connect to your Xbox every time and has a faster response time than wireless controllers.

For PC, it's also amazing. The drivers are ridiculously easy to install, just insert the disc and you need only 3 clicks then you're done. And it doesn't need to be configured, it works perfectly as soon as you plug it in. Not only is it great for Windows games, but it's compatible with different console emulators (particularly ePSXe, an Internet favourite) without downloading additional drivers. Just map the buttons and you're off.

Plus you also get the incredible “new controller” feeling… With those delectable tight thumbsticks and crisp buttons and… Maybe i'm getting a bit ahead of myself.

Anyway, a perfect controller that any PC gamer MUST have, and every Xbox gamer SHOULD have. If you're looking for a wired controller, this is a great investment and it's affordable to­o!

After playing PC games for a while I finally decided to purchase a controller and am glad I choose this one. Games are far more enjoyable to use and the contoller is comfortable and practical. Don't know how I survived without it!

Based on other reviews posted this looked like the one to get. I very happy I did as it make gaming more enjoyable ones I got used to it after playing FPS for ever with mouse and keyboard. Now I can also feel the action with the built-in Vibration Feedback.

I was sick of using cheap non standard PC controllers, so I decided to get a 360 controller. Haven't looked back! The quality stands out compared to other controllers. Defiantly recommend!

This is great… play any games the way they are meant to be played… it can also replace the mouse using xPadder… the only controller you need…

This Xbox 360 Wired Controller is indeed the only controller you'll ever need.

Why?

1. It is compatible with almost every game (new or old) on windows.
2. It has got all the buttons that you'll ever need in almost any game that needs a controller
3. It is very comfortable to hold it in your hands. And it's great when you just want to sit in bed and enjoy a game without having to be at your desk.

The Xbox 360 Wired Controller for WinXP/Vista USB is a gaming controller that is larger than other contemporary controllers on the market, but that design feature makes the Xbox 360 Wired Controller particularly user friendly for those of us with hand/finger injuries and problems. I cannot recommend this controller for anyone who is unable to use a keyboard and mouse setup for PC gaming.

So easy to use, Install the handy software (Within pack) Plug in the controller, Put on your favorite game And off you go! Works with nearly any game, Surprisingly even some I didn't think it would work on.

I bought this controller to use with both pc and xbox 360, and I can honestly say its a great buy, although I couldnt reprogram the button for use on rugby 06 it works a charm for other games on pc.

Fantastic two for one controller

I purchased the Xbox 360 controller along with GTA: San Andreas for my PC, and it works great. There were some buttons I could not configure with San Andreas, but ‘Xpadder’ helped me configure everything and now it runs perfectly. 10 out of 10!

Cheaper comparing with the wireless and I prefer wired because u never have to charge the batteries.

Worked really well for a while, then it just stopped working (the light would just flash every time it was plugged in) and I couldn't get a refund or find a solution. Won't be wasting any more money on these controllers.

Does what you want PC compatible

I brought this controller for use on my Xbox 360 elite and PC. Mainly for my PC as I have always wanted to be able to use the best video game controller on a PC.

There can be issues with getting the controller to work on older games even with the microsoft drivers installed, but there is an easy solution which is use a program called Xpadder that lets u map the controllers buttons, triggers etc to keyboard keys or mouse buttons.

With that said the Xbox Controller works out of the box with 90% of all modern games and most games that are coming out today have the Xbox controller pre-configured so there wont be any need for the likes of Xpadder etc.

I find these controllers great for a lot of GFWL games, not only do you get the added benefit of being able to play the way 50% of the games were made to be played but it's also easy to set up and play other games with it too. And for the price you just can't go wrong. Really useful for racing games. And in my opinion these are the most comfortable controllers of any that I have used.

Good xbox 360 controller which can easily be used with a pc

Nice piece of kit – good packaging and build quality, true plug and play with Windows 7 and widespread game support (especially if you use a utility like joy2key). The cable is nice and long and flexible, meaning you don't have to be too near the PC if you're plugging it into your TV via HDMI.

This controller is very comfortable, sturdy and is compatible with both the PC and Xbox 360. Many games on PC support this controller with no setup required which is great, as most other controllers require tedious readjusting of sensitivity and binding of buttons, but with the Xbox 360 controller for PC, the developers have done the hard work for you and selected the ideal setup for you already so you can just plug in and play.

Well having wired controllers is like owning a ps1/xbox but luckly it is cheap.

Nothing really out of order, no delays, no damage, it was pretty much spot on.
