A very heavy unit and easy to use. Took me some time to master it. Instructions are OK, but need to be more detailed. Easy to clean. I wonder if the non-stick papers are available, otherwise one has to make them. I've kept one as a template.

Easy to use. Makes nice thick burgers. Using parchment paper on top and bottom surfaces of press means there’s no clean-up. Brilliant!
It's made of cast iron, I think. Very solid (except for the spring, which appears to be lesser quality) and comes with a lot of wax paper, which is very handy. The only reason I'm taking one star from it is because of the relatively flimsy spring and because it is calling itself XL. While it is the biggest press I could find on the site, a 12cm patty is NOT something you can call XL. Totally recommend it though.

This ingenious burger press will form a 12cm wide burger for either BBQ or cooking in the oven, or on the grill. Simply create your burger mix, using beef, breadcrumbs, herbs and spices of choice and an egg to bind the mixture together, and seperate into even sized balls of meat. Set the height of your burger using the screw height adjuster, you can choose the thickness, and place the mixture on the wax paper in the press. Press down with the burger press, remove, and chill for 20 minutes. This press will make a perfectly formed burger to your size, each and every time.
