PART ONE Who is Elizabeth Windsor and how did she become the woman who would be Queen of England at the start of a new millennium? In this two part series we examine Elizabeth’s formative years: from her birth to her to eventual crowning as Queen. In Part one we look at the effect her uncle’s abdication had on her family and on her future and how this experience would teach her the importance of duty and sacrifice. PART TWO Elizabeth Windsor is unique; like no other woman of her nation. We are all a product of our upbringing and Elizabeth is no different but her upbringing was like that of no other child. In Part two of this series we examine the importance of family and history in shaping this future Queen.
