Zoey Brooks (starring Jamie Lynn Spears...yes, Britney's sister), an independent and outgoing 13 year old is a memeber of the school's first female class. Zoey is excited about being on her own and tackles, with humour and style, all the challenges that come her way: fitting in, roommates, making the all boys basketball team, etc. Zoey has an ally in her younger brother, Dustin who also attends Pacific Coast Academy.

Zoey is as athletic as she is artistic, she is a natural leader with spunk and charm that helps her get through everything a teenager is faced with - bullies, friendships and crushes. Zoey's down-to-earth and independent nature saves the day...usually!
