Gearing up for Work: Get the Keyboard for You.

By Andi

No matter what you're working on when you're at a computer, you're going to want an input device that makes your job easier. There's plenty out there – from mice, stylus', tablets, but the trustiest of them all is the good old keyboard.

We figured we'd run down some of the different options so you get the one you need for your way of working…

1) Rapoo Wired Keyboard and Mouse

It doesn't get much simpler than this.

With a minimalist and compact design, this keyboard is great for the smaller workstation, while still maintaining a quality typing experience. With no bells and whistles, installation is as easy as plugging it in.

The fact that the combo also includes a wired mouse makes this awesome value for money as well.

2) Logitech K310 Washable Keyboard

If your workplace contains a bit more debris than normal (or you're just a bit of a slob) then Logitech's K310 Washable Keyboard is perfect for you.

Submergible in up to 30cm of water, you can give this keyboard an easy clean when the crumbs, dust, grime and what-have-you starts to build up. Drainage in the back means it's easy to dry as well, so you can get back to work as quickly as possible (Or “leave it to dry” if you're looking to procrastinate.)

Of course the keyboard itself holds all the hallmarks of a quality Logitech product with the design, functionality and comfort you've come to know.

3) Logitech K750R Solar Wireless Keyboard

If you prefer a wireless way of typing but hate it when the batteries die, then you should check out this solar solution.

Not only is its design sleek and spacious, but the integrated solar panels mean it'll keep typing as long as you've thoughts to punch into it.

But what if your inspiration comes to you at night? No worries, it'll stay charged for at least three months in total darkness, so you can burn the midnight oil all you like. There's even a solar app that'll let you track battery power and how much charge it's getting from the available light.

4) Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate

This isn't a keyboard for the feint of heart.

It is however a truly fantastic keyboard when you're spending countless hours coding, writing, or when you take a break for some much needed gaming.

Using Cherry MX Blue switches, typing is like running your fingers through a cloud. With a truly minimalist design in a matte black, this is the keyboard for those that don't need to look down when they type.

…Plus you'll look like a total bad ass when you throw this down at a work station and start typing without needing to know which keys are which.
