Author Biography:

Cordelia is lead creative and founder of Luna Creative, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design studio. Luna works at the intersection of the natural world, environmental science, and visual storytelling to help build a healthier, more environmentally secure and resilient future. She has a Master's in Illustration from SCAD and undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design, Studio Art, and Art History. Her work's been recognized with awards from American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA), American Advertising Federation (AAF), Applied Arts, and exhibited around the country. She lives in Wilmington, NC, with her adorable family (husband, little boy, dog, and cat). Also the author of "Hatchlings" (2018) and "All Along the Atlantic" (2019), this is her third book in the Coloring Nature series. Tiffany Miller Russell has a love for the unique and unusual that has lead both to study the natural world, and depict it in cut paper sculpture. Her paper sculptures have won her numerous awards from the likes of "Artists' Magazine" and the Society of Animal Artists, including a travel grant to Trinidad and Tobago. She shows regularly in juried museum exhibitions and fine art galleries, and her works are included in the permanent Contemporary Art collection of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. She resides in Denver, CO. Trudy Smoke Robbins is a nature illustrator and earned a certificate in Botanical Illustration from the New York Botanical Garden in 2019. She illustrated "Field Guide to the Neighborhood Birds of New York City" (2015) and "Field Guide to the Street Trees of New York City" (2011) both by Leslie Day and published by Johns Hopkins University Press. She is Professor Emerita from Hunter College, CUNY, Department of English where she taught linguistics and rhetoric.
