Roger Steffens is a world-renowned expert on the life and music of Bob Marley. His Marley archives are considered the largest known repository of the reggae king's works and have recently been acquired to become the foundation collection of the National Museum of Jamaican Music. He is the founding editor of The Beat magazine, chairman of the Reggae Grammy Committee and former promotions director of Island Records, Marley's record label. Leroy Pierson is a gifted musician and noted scholar of early black music history, both blues and Caribbean-based reggae music.
