Description

Excellent Leadership emphasizes how an independent individual can successfully lead an excellent solution to expand God's Kingdom, multiplying benefits for one and all by enormous amounts, by primarily relying on Him. Due to the enormous differences between what an individual can accomplish with and without God's help in creating breakthroughs, seeking such a role should be a great faith-building activity. In the process, individuals can gain by learning humility. After finishing Excellent Leadership, readers will then be readier to apply Excellent Solutions, the complementary book to Excellent Leadership. Many people are unsure of what God is calling them to do in addition to His commands in the Bible for all believers. While the amazing potential of creating an excellent solution is more than sufficient to intrigue and attract almost any believer, no one should presume that he or she is called to be the leader of such an activity without unmistakable evidence of this calling. Lesson One describes some ways that such a calling can be verified. Lesson Two explores what some of God's other purposes for an excellent solution might be and how leaders can ensure that His intentions are fully understood and sought. Lesson Three draws on the principles contained in the Bible's commands and directions to identify what leaders must do for an excellent solution to flourish. The lesson begins with the description of God as our model leader that is found in Isaiah 4:29-31 (NKJV). Lesson Four looks closely at Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt toward the Promised Land as a model for going from today's best practices to the full riches of what God's wisdom and power can provide through excellent solutions. We focus on God's directions to Moses, as well as the consequences when Moses failed to do what had been commanded. Lesson Five draws on Deuteronomy 20 (NKJV) to consider how the limits described there for conducting war apply to developing and implementing an excellent solution. Lesson Six considers those hard times when neither answers nor help seem to be available and discouragement can fill a leader's heart, as well as the hearts of those who are committed to an excellent solution. Lesson Seven examines challenges from those opposed to either the excellent solution's purposes or its methods. We investigate how to respond so that more of God's love will be received and appreciated by opponents. Lesson Eight focuses on how those involved with the excellent solution can be most fruitful in implementing the solution. Throughout Lesson Nine, we explore how to encourage those affected by the excellent solution to follow God's commandments. Lesson Ten turns to maintaining and further developing an already successful excellent solution by drawing on the Bible's directions for being an effective pastor. Next, Lesson Eleven outlines the best ways to lead the ongoing tasks of educating those who are improving the solution, producing its benefits, and using what is provided. Finally, Lesson Twelve emphasizes how leaders can ensure that the excellent solution serves God's purposes, rather than any un-Godly purposes of the people involved. My updated personal testimony as a believer in God is contained in Appendix A, which explains how I became a Christian and some of the ways that this most important decision has greatly blessed my life. Appendix B describes how leaders of existing nonprofit and for-profit organizations can direct breakthroughs by becoming more Christlike in developing their organizations.
