Description

Born in Guatemala City on October 23, 1977, Francisco showed interest from a young age in aviation, began his training as a pilot in flight simulators for personal computers, and by the time he was flying for the first time in a Cessna 172, he already had knowledge piloting and instrument flight he had acquired in the flight simulators. His father did not agree that he was a pilot, but still supported him in every way to achieve his dream. He started his career in Guatemala in 1995 and in 1996 he entered the university to study Mechanical Engineering which he could not conclude due to the lack of available time while working as a pilot. He finished his career in the city of Miami, Florida in 1997, returned to Guatemala, where he began his professional career in the Guatemalan domestic airline Tikal Jets, where he worked as a pilot for 9 years before moving on to corporate flight. He formed the Aerorecursos aviation company and blog in 2011, in which he has dedicated himself to teaching and helping people who love aviation, whether they want to be pilots or, as pilots, they want to expand their knowledge. This book is a compilation of the questions that blog readers have formulated over the years in the search for information to be able to start their career as a pilot, questions such as: How much does the career cost? What is a private pilot license? What aircraft do I have to ¬y? How much is the approximate cost of the ¬flight time? etc.We hope that this book can solve most of the doubts that arise when the race starts, and we hope to obtain all your good or bad comments in order to offer better and more useful information every day for all of you.Francisco BarriosATP FAA and Flight InstructorBAC ONE ELEVEN, DC9, LEAR JET 45, Gulfstream 450/550 and Gulfstream 280
