Mrs. Myrah S. Duckworth I qualified as a teacher in 1996 with a B.Ed (Hons) degree in English. I have been teaching in primary and secondary schools for over twenty years. I have taught English, Drama, Maths, Science, P.E., PSHE and Social Studies. I have been a Foundation Learning teacher, form tutor, head of year, head of P.E., Out of hours learning co-ordinator, School Sports Co-ordinator and Enterprise co-ordinator. I have specialised in teaching children and young people with social and emotional difficulties, challenging behaviour and special educational needs such as Autism and Dyslexia. I have worked with children and young people from nursery to post 16. I have also taught students with English as an additional language. I very much enjoyed being a host Mum to students studying English in Birmingham. I have worked with children and young people as a project worker and sports coach. I also currently do mentoring and life coaching. I am blessed to know an amazing team of highly qualified and skilled individuals who have supported me to create this wonderful series of books and for that I am very grateful. I love writing stories for children and young people and feel my purpose is to help everyone to be their true being and to shine with the star dust that they are made of. I see each person with love.
