Description

For anyone devastated by fear and shame, the author takes her reader on a legally blind journey that births in childhood and ends in her middle years. Her trail is filled with the emotional, psychological, mental and spiritual milestones that enveloped her with fear and shame deep enough to make her invisible. On this journey the reader will come to see how Borderline Personality and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder developed through her indoctrination by family abuse that spanned decades, and where restoration can be found in the darkest depths. Born in New York, Regan A. MacBannon-Mason was raised in a highly dysfunctional family, and acquired her knowledge through research on the subject of Borderline Personality and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Her findings led to a personal investigation of how fear and shame stained every facet of her life. She graduated from Alameda College, Phi Theta Kappa with two Associates Degrees. As an English major at the University of California Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, her interest in disability discourse was heightened. After earning her Master of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento, several crises in her life inspired her to tell a story that lets readers see how the roadmap of her life can direct them to restoration.
