KK's Busy Day was written to give a voice to a special ten-year-old girl who has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome. This story expresses how she may feel on any given day spent with those who love and care for her.

Author Biography:

Authors Michelle Boudousquie Grubbs, former talk show co-host worked in the television industry for over 20 years. She is currently a proprietor of multiple units with a well-known franchise. She received her bachelor's degree in Communications from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Michelle also holds her real estate license in Louisiana. She is a past president of Rotary in her community and has served on several charity boards. She has received numerous awards for excellence in leadership, Business of the Year, and Outstanding Media Performance to name a few. She has two children, Joseph, III and Christina, and stepchildren Macie and Tyler. She currently lives in New Orleans, Louisiana with her husband. Email: Michelle@gacookies.com. Lisa Trawick Smith is an elementary school art teacher. She received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education General Curriculum from Gordon State College in Barnesville, Georgia. She has a master's degree in Early Childhood from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, and her Specialist in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Lisa lives in Jackson, Georgia with her husband, son and their furry companion Reese. She enjoys hiking and the outdoors and loves to incorporate nature into her writing. She also graduated with an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Gordon State College. Megan is an avid photographer and illustrator. She enjoys learning new skills, discovering new places, and dreaming up new ideas. She hopes to illustrate many more children's books in the future.
