Description

Teaching kids and toddlers to brush their teeth can be fun. It's true. This funny teeth-brushing book for toddlers and children turns a daily frustration into a daily activity they look forward to every day. In this third installment of the hilarious Maggie McNair kid book series, Maggie has not been honest about brushing her teeth. As a matter of fact, she hasn't been brushing at all! That's when the sugar bugs sneak out and start making their "bug houses" in her teeth! What happens to Maggie's teeth when they take over? Find out and follow all of Maggie's adventures with your kids as she discovers the importance of healthy teeth and good hygiene. Kids of all ages (from preschool to 3rd grade) adore Maggie's charming and relatable character while learning why we take care of our teeth and body. This must-have book is perfect for: Parents, grandparents & caretakers who want to instill positive hygiene habits. Add it to your personal hygiene checklist for kids. Teachers and school counselors supporting healthy habits at daycare and school. Keep it in the library or classroom. Dentists and orthodontists encouraging good brushing habits (teeth are for brushing, teeth are not for biting). Add it to your waiting room library or send it home with your parents. Toddlers, kids, children who love picture books, giggling, good children's stories, and kids book series.

Author Biography:

Sheila Booth-Alberstadt has a calling to write children's books with purpose--books that deliver a message to both the adult and the child. With the Maggie McNair series, the author carries on this goal to touch on topics that are common, everyday occurrences in life, including hygiene issues and manners--lessons best learned early in life. Inspired by her own children's aversion to baths, brushing teeth, cleaning their rooms, and more, Sheila Booth-Alberstadt crafted the character of Maggie McNair. Norris Hall has been creating colorful, whimsical clocks, murals, office signs, decorative accessories, and illustrations since 1987, when he left his full-time job as an art director to pursue a career as an independent artist and illustrator. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
