The poems in this little book came about in the evening of Thursday 8th September 2022. Buckingham Palace had just announced that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, had passed away while at Balmoral in Scotland. She was 96 years of age. These poems were completed during the week of National Mourning and finalised on the day of the funeral.
