Author Biography:
Kellee Wynne Conrad studied art and art history at Monterey Peninsula College and University of Maryland, then worked in the design industry making trade products for national companies while teaching art classes. Her accomplishments include winning Signature Membership with the International Society of Acrylic Painters and doing an eight-month residency at Jordan Faye Contemporary in Baltimore in 2015. She began curating art shows and exhibits, spending a year with the Maryland Federation of Art as their off-site exhibits coordinator. She has created original exhibits for West Annapolis Artworks for more than four years. Her experience in bringing in new artists to the gallery and running programs led her to the creation of her True Colors Art Program, an online, yearlong course that uses color as a foundation for learning mixed-media art techniques and features top guest artist instructors. Kellee lives near Baltimore, Maryland.
