Las Vegas 1974. Joey Sullivan has moved to Vegas hoping to scrape a living amongst the porn cinemas, clip-joints and all-night bars. It's a tough life but it's a lot easier than the life he left behind, busting his guts as a journeyman boxer and owing too many favours and too much money to the wrong sort of people. And then one day, an old face from Boston comes to town and Joey realises its not so easy to evade the long arm and longer memories of the mob.

James Lovegrove is in his late thirties. He has been identified as one of the most talented of the current crop of British genre writers by numerous critics. His novel DAYS was shortlisted for the Arthur C. Clarke Award. He is married and lives in Devon.
