The fry pan is wonderful to use. As any cast iron purchased I did a couple of seasonings on the stovetop. So my first meal was a lamb ragu to test, his pan is so slick and didn't stick at all, effortlessly stiring the food. Only advice it to use high heat oil like coconut oil as I stained the middle with olive oil. It does go dull black from the polished look, but that is the nonstick seasoning being added. I find with this pan as I'm used to heavy cast iron is you don't need much heat, an energy saver. Handles don't get hot at all during cooking. And the weight makes this pan more versatile. Happy with purchase.
