Description

RAISED BY THE NATION’S GREATEST GENERAL AND A FAMOUS DUELLIST, SYLINE HAS NO TIME FOR THE NOBLE NICETIES OF HER PRIVILEGED LIFE… Hailing from a family of soldiers and warriors, Syline couldn’t be more different from her kin. She's never cared for the blade, even if forced to train with it day in, day out. Syline's passion is for magic and adventure, with dreams of one day becoming a renowned mage. Yet when her curiosity puts her square in the path of a monstrous mage far more powerful than she can match, Syline is left wishing for the days of duels and dance practice. Forced to flee the city she’s lived in her entire life, Syline must survive the harsh winter of her homeland and the hunters pursuing her across it. When the terrifying truth of the mage’s plans become clear, and the threat looms over her family, Syline must return home and face the threat head on; for her freedom, for her family and for her nation…

Author Biography:

A.G. Charlton is a Perth-based author who adores all things fantasy. Growing up on Warhammer and locked into the eternal purgatory that is being a forever DM in Dungeons & Dragons, he escapes the constant questions of his players by – you guessed it – writing more fantasy. When he’s not writing, reading or enjoying fantasy in some fashion, he’s writing at his day job as a marketing content specialist. If you took the pen out of his hand he might well turn to ash.
