Mochi might sound strange to you if you haven't experienced so much of Asian foods. It is a delicacy by the Japanese that is enjoyed year-round but most especially for a traditional ceremony known as mochitsuki. It is a rice cake made with various flavors eaten as a snack or dessert based on the eater's preference.
