Born and raised on a small farm in Kansas, Allison Westfahl eventually went on to graduate magna cum laude from Yale University with a BA in Music. After college, Allison moved to Boulder, Colorado to pursue her other love- athletics. She serves as the Director of Personal Training at Flatiron Athletic Club in Boulder, a health club that was crowned "Best Gym in America" by Men's Journal. Allison also holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science, and she has been profiled in both Athletic Business and Fitness Business magazines for her career accomplishments. Allison has also helped with choreography and served as on-screen talent in numerous fitness DVDs, including Bob Greene's "8 Week Total Body Makeover". She is a highly sought-after spokesperson, writer, and model for the fitness industry. Allison maintains a busy personal training clientele in Colorado. In her spare time, Allison enjoys singing with a professional chamber choir in Denver, playing Trivial Pursuit with her husband, and cooking with too much garlic.
