Sovicheth Boun is Lecturer in the Institute of ForeignLanguages of the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia andAdjunct Professor in the Department of Bicultural-BilingualStudies, College of Education and Human Development, at theUniversity of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Ofelia Garcia is Professor of Urban Education andHispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Languages at theGraduate Center of the City University of New York. Her most recentbooks include Translanguaging: Language, Bilingualism andEducation (with Li Wei, 2014), and Bilingual CommunityEducation and Multilingualism: Beyond Heritage Languages in aGlobal City (with Zakharia & Otcu, 2013). She isAssociate General Editor of The International Journal of theSociology of Language.
