Wayne E. Wright is Professor and Barbara I. Cook Chair ofLiteracy and Language in the College of Education at PurdueUniversity. He is Editor of the Journal of Southeast AsianAmerican Education and Advancement and Book Review Editor ofthe International Multilingual Research Journal. His mostrecent book is Foundations of Teaching English LanguageLearners: Research, Theory, Policy, & Practice(2nd ed., 2015). Sovicheth Boun is Lecturer in the Institute of ForeignLanguages of the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia andAdjunct Professor in the Department of Bicultural-BilingualStudies, College of Education and Human Development, at theUniversity of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Ofelia Garcia is Professor of Urban Education andHispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Languages at theGraduate Center of the City University of New York. Her most recentbooks include Translanguaging: Language, Bilingualism andEducation (with Li Wei, 2014), and Bilingual CommunityEducation and Multilingualism: Beyond Heritage Languages in aGlobal City (with Zakharia & Otcu, 2013). She isAssociate General Editor of The International Journal of theSociology of Language.
