When billions of little stars find themselves split off from the Original Beautiful Light, they begin to feel guilty. They mistakenly believe they have destroyed that amazing light to gain their individuality. This sense of separation from their Source fosters fierce competition, with each star pitted against every other. Each star's individual goal is to replace the Original Beautiful Light, but feeble twinkling is all that their strenuous, exhausting efforts can produce. The Parable of the Stars is a brief & entertaining illustrated story of rediscovery, as the stars come to remember their true beauty and power within their Oneness as the single beautiful Light.

Author Biography:

John Beavin is a certified hypnotherapist, prolific songwriter, and author With his wife Lainie, John hand-built Greenlight Sanctuaries stone by stone, where they have facilitated weekly "A Course in Miracles" classes since 1989. Jennifer Barret attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, NY, and Ducret School of Art in North Plainfield, NJ. She lives with her husband Brian and their three children Lydia, Emily, and Joe, which she feels keeps her "a humble student of life." She works as a nurse.
