I bought this book purely because I saw Matthew Reilly had a new book that I hadn't read. I was surprised the book was written from the first-person perspective of a teenage girl because his other books are third-person omniscient. This did make it harder for me to become immersed at first but once the ball got rolling, as it quickly does with Matthew Reilly, I couldn't put it down and read the bulk of it in one sitting. I would recommend the book to anyone who likes Matthew Reilly and it could also be a really good introduction to his writing for people might be turned off by the action-packed adventures of his other military characters.
