Michael Pike has had a lifetime of public service and also careers in the private sector. He holds an honours degree in law from University College, London, and was awarded the MBE by HM Queen for services to policing both in the UK and overseas. His experience also extends to compliance and regulation in financial services in both the UK and the Caribbean. He has a keen interest in the democratic process and his interests also extend to international affairs and human rights. He is a native of the Isle of Wight, has been married for over fifty years and has two children and three grandchildren.
