Description

He is the son of Charleston's elite, spending his summers in beach houses and horseback riding. She is the daughter of an impoverished, blue-collar family, living in the shadows of abuse and alcoholism. Neither shares anything in common - except their dreams. "The World In Which We Dream" unravels the story of Nick and Maely, who escape from their drastically different worlds every night in their slumber. She offers him a glimpse at gritty reality and an unwavering strength to conquer all. He is her beacon of hope for a life beyond her dismal existence. But will their nightly trysts be enough to keep them satisfied as adults or will one of them walk away from what may be nothing more than just a dream?
