Turbine Power is a condensed history book of the various turbine-powered locomotives and passenger trains that ran in America. I've given it a 4-star rating for its wide coverage of the subject matter in hand but it lost 1 star for being a bit light on details such as fuel consumption HP/ton miles and overall maintenance cost in comparison to Diesel and Electric powered units from the same era. Overall though, a very readable and enjoyable book, well worth buying.
